Farming For the Future Academy

Farming For the Future Academy is located at 80 13th St E, Columbia Falls, MT 59912. The organization is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, public charity established in 2011. In 2013, The Academy relocated to the Montana Veterans' Home (MVH) in Columbia Falls, Montana.

Programs and Mission

The Academy provides inclusive agricultural, educational, and community-based programs for adults, teens, and children with and without disabilities, including individuals with autism and other special needs. Programming is designed around each participant's strengths, needs, and abilities to ensure meaningful and accessible participation.

Many of these programs use agriculture and farming as the foundation to build individualized programs. Students, along with family involvement, volunteers, faculty members, and staff, may be encouraged to participate in the local Farmer's Market.
